This past weekend we had a family re-union at Frankfort Rivier Oord in Frankfort Free State and booked out all their chalets and some of the rondavals

The per day price that we paid for a chalet did not justify the condition of the chalet, there were broken wall tiles in the kitchen as well as the bathroom, the hot water tap at the wash basin was difficult to open and close as it had come loose to the basin, The sliding door from the lounge to the veranda was also faulty I had to work on it to get it to work properly, the place was in dire need of an upgrade to justify the price paid per day. The chalet was for 6 people but only had glasses for 4 people.

Even the rondavals were over priced, if they had their own on suite then it would have been more fair but the ablution block had to be used for showering etc to justify their price they would also have to be upgraded.

The above is not just my opinion but was the overall feeling amongst the group
